When our friends at Foothills Marine came to us wanting a custom-built conference table, we said “Awesome!” We took their ideas and vision and turned them into this stunning live edge conference table.
The conference table top is made from a standing dead red oak tree. Since the tree had remained standing after it died, the grain is more pronounced giving the wood more character. We filled any cracks and knots with iEpoxy and then gave the assembled top a lacquer finish for maximum durability.
Of course, a tabletop of this size deserves a base of equal character, so we hand forged a heavy-duty base with the look of an I-beam with oversized rivets to pay homage to the steel bridges of yesterday.
As you can see, a conference table this big requires a few strong backs to deliver and install. We are proud of our team who worked together from start to finish to make sure our customer was satisfied.
